Manston are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2024 Investors in People (IIP) awards, within the UK Employer of the Year: Gold (2-49 employees) category.
Managing Director, Tom Boardman-Weston, stated that:
“So much value has arisen to the firm (and I hope, its employees and other stakeholders as well!) from going through the IIP process, to even be nominated for this award is a wonderful recognition of so much hard work by so many people. I could not be more proud of the Manston team – for this award would really be for them.
“The IIP process not only introduces new & improved ways of doing things for a firm, but also encourages you to challenge received wisdom and ‘we’ve always done it this way’ thinking about they ways they act – ‘is this right for now?’; and to properly formalise and document sensible & appropriate policies and processes that may just exist in the heads of staff members. I would strongly reccomend IIP to any organisation, even those that feel they are doing everything right and have no direct issues to address. The real rewards arise long before any official recognition, such as this award, is made!
“The real value of the work has already been realised by the firm – but I am delighted that our progress and standards might be further recognised through these awards.
“We are looking forward to the awards ceremony very much indeed – and wish all our worthy competitors the best of luck.”
