Manston are delighted to announce the acquisition of units 26 and 26a Cottonbrook Road, Sir Francis Ley Industrial Estate, Derby. The acquisition comprises two modern industrial units on the established Sir Francis Ley Industrial Estate – well situated for Derby City Centre and the Outer Ring Road, on the arterial Osmaston Road. The units are leased out to McDonalds (as a delivery hub) and AutoParts, both of whom have been on the site for a number of years.

Manston’s Managing Director, Tom Boardman-Weston, said of the acquisition:
“I am very pleased to be adding these two units – let to such great tenants – to the Manston portfolio. Being on the very busy Sir Francis Ley estate in Derby – they increase our exposure to industrial premises in an important urban centre. We know that in this part of the country – smaller industrial units do not often come to market, being so attractive to investors and owner-occupiers alike, so we are very pleased to have been able to acquire 26 and 26a in one transaction.
“As with all our investments – we hope to enjoy a long and mutually beneficial partnership with our tenants, and continue to invest into the site.”
Manston were advised on this transaction by Phil Randle of Salloways commercial property consultants, Callum Kenny of Grovewest building surveyors, and Fiona Thompson-Butler of Landsmiths solicitors.
